A model trailer on the left is the least expensive trailer we manufacture.
That said, our A model trailer surpasses our competition in quality
of materials and workmanship. At Dixie Craft Trailers, Inc. we put
the same amount of time and and quality into all of our trailers.

The
SGA model trailer on the right is the drive-on version of the A
model trailer. The guide boards are 4' (four foot) long and are
fully adjustable to fit the sides of your boat. The guide boards
enable you to easily load and unload your boat every time. Read
below for more details about the SGA series trailers.

How does
Dixie Craft Trailers, Inc. compare to our competition?
There are four
distinct features in our A Model and SGA Model Trailers that clearly stand
out over our competition.
1.
10' Bunks. These bunks
give the boat full support from front to back. Most other brands of
trailers have a short set of bunks on the rear of the trailer and short
blocks or a roller on the front.
2. Full frame trailer. Our frames are long
enough that no part of the boat sits out past the bunks on the rear.
Our rear cross-member is always within 3" to 4" from the end
of the bunk. Also, we allow plenty of room between the winch stand and
coupler for lowering your tailgate and ease of use. On cheaper trailers,
the bunk extends past the rear cross-member 12" to 18", and
is unsupported. On
even cheaper models, neither the frame nor bunks are long enough. On
those trailers, the rear of the boat is suspended without support. Is
this where you want your
expensive motor to sit?
3. Transom Tie Downs. Our rear tie-down
holders are set out 6" from the rear of the trailer so the transom
tie downs will work properly without rubbing the boat. With the boat
over hang on the rear of cheaper trailers, you will have to use a gunnale
tie down. These are difficult to attach and almost impossible to tighten
and keep tightened.
4. 4" Bow Roller and end caps. You
will not find 4" rollers and end caps on any other brand trailer
in this size category. These rollers and end caps give more support
on the front than the more common 3" rollers.
